Come along to our Paisley studio and learn how to make your very own silver bangle.

You will be guided through how to measure, cut, shape & solder silver using various tools, hammers and techniques. You’ll have a chance to try out different textures to apply to your finished bangle before giving it a polish ready to be worn home. You will get to choose from different wire shapes on the day with the option to upgrade to a wider bangle for an additional £15.

The class will be taken by myself (Laura) & will be held in our downstairs jewellery studio. All materials and tools are provided along with plenty of tea, coffee & biscuits. This is a fun & relaxed leisure class suitable for complete beginners over the ages of 18 for a maximum of 6 people.

Please remember to bring glasses if you need them, wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty (aprons are available to wear), long hair must be tied back for health and safety.

Everyone works at different speeds but expect this class to be approx 2.5-3hrs long.

Please note:
A minimum number of 3 participants is required to run this class, if this isn’t met the class may be cancelled a few days before its due to take place, if this happens you will be offered a full refund or the opportunity to book a different date.

Cancellations
Life happens, if you do need to cancel your space on the workshop please give as much notice as possible, if you cancel less than 48 hours before the workshop takes place you will only be refunded 70% of the full price unless the space can be filled.

Where to find us

Classes are held in The Workshop, 23 Gordon Street, Paisley PA1 1XD.

The Workshop is a shared studio space in an annex building of the old fire station only a few minutes walk from Paisley town center and both Gilmour Street and Canal Street train stations.

Whislt we don't have any parking we are across the road from Orcahrd Street car park (look across the road to see our brigth blue doors!) as well as car parks on Bridge Street and at the Watermill Hotel.

Health & Saftey

Making jewellery is great fun, but it is also messy & most classes will involve the use of tools and equipment you might never have used before, including hand held gass torches.

As a general rule all participants must wear enclosed toe shoes and keep long hair tied back.

The jewellery studio is downstairs however some of the large pieces of equipment (like the rolling mill) are upstairs, if access is a problem classes can be adapted to suit individual needs. Please contact me if you would like to further information. There is ramp access into the building & a large downstairs toilet with hand rail.
