A rough Montana sapphire has been sandcast in a silver ring. Sand casting is the process of pouring molten silver into a specialist sand mold, the sapphire is placed inside the mold capturing the sapphire & setting it in place. The sapphire is approx 5mm & the ring is approx 6.5mm at it’s widest point. This is a UK size L.
Whilst each gemstone is different & unique similar can be made using a different gemstone to your size. If your local you are always welcome to come in & select your own gemstone from the growing selection I have in stock.
All the rings are hand made by me from my studio Paisley. This ring is hallmarked as sterling silver from the Edinburgh Assay Office.

Silver will naturally tarnish over time, certain factors can speed this up like wearing your jewellery in the shower, swimming and perfums as well as the natural oils in our skin.

Brown paper packages tied up with string...
Just one of my favourite things. Though when it comes to jewellery, we put in a bit more effort, striking a balance between aesthetic & sustainability.
Our gift boxes & inserts are made in Europe from FSC-certified cardboard the inserts have a viscose topcoat to look like velvet, meaning no plastic foam inserts!
Most of our jewellery is sent in letter box friendly cardboard mailers which can be recycled.
